Peripatos: (περίπατοι): A sheltered place to wander in thought.
BLACK PERIPATOS is an online gallery and seasonal zine that aims to open the closed quarters that is the art world. By allowing all forms or creativity to collaborate and meld together on one website opens opportunities to all those involved. We feature artists ranging from emerging to professional "levels" and hope to promote each artist equally. BLACK PERIPATOS wants to offer a free and safe place for artists to promote their work and their voice in art. BLACK PERIPATOS could be the first publication or the 100th publication for any artist, but it could also mean a new opportunity for a new collaboration. All creative people are invited to submit to our on going calls and our seasonal publications. In the future we hope to have physical publications of the zine and a profitable gallery for those artists wishing to sell their work.
As BLACK PERIPATOS is brand new and empty we urge new artists looking to make their first step into the world of art here. With a wide range of artistic forms and philosophies, BLACK PERIPATOS will promote and follow the artists throughout their careers. We encourage those that have their work shown here to keep in contact with us about future projects so that we may include them in our monthly updates (soon to be established).
